ECAN's teachings are based on Prof. David Luján's extraordinary book, Manual de Acupuntura Natural (Natural Acupuncture Manual), for which he received the Merit Award of Excellence at the 47th World Congress of Complementary Medicine (2009).
The ECAN School of Acupuncture has been training practitioners in Traditional Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture) for many years in various countries (Sri Lanka, Spain, Chile, Nepal, India, Colombia, Mexico, Indonesia, South Africa, Thailand).
This series of intensive courses will provide students with the opportunity to gain immeasurable experience and practice with a large number of patients.
Pulse-taking and the art of breathing are the primary diagnosis. The method is based on a deep understanding of the thirteenth subconscious that inhabits and shapes our internal organs.
ECAN Diagnostic Sheet: Pulse-Taking and Breathing.
All students in our School will acquire these two fundamental skills for performing traditional acupuncture. You will precisely understand each deep aspect of the subconscious and how it manifests in breathing and other ways.
We work with several names for the subconscious and acupuncture points. These names are used for better understanding and facilitate point selection, so that the practitioner finds them manageable and results accumulate more quickly and clearly.
By addressing the emotional causes of illness (or what the ancient Chinese called "spirits"), we can address a much wider range of pathological problems.
ECAN is also a member of the International Union of Complementary Medicines – Group 1 / Section 1 / national number 595 281 (Approved by The Hague – European Committee).

Prof. D. Luján, graduate in psychology in 1983, has developed a simple teaching system for his students over the years. "We all learn through action, since we only listen from within." All students can experience the benefits of the treatments during their 30-hour weekly practices. But Prof. D. Luján wasn't looking for a system that only great masters could demonstrate with results, but rather a system where a single student could achieve beneficial results for their patients. And this is ECAN, an International School of Acupuncture where students work with patients from day one, a place where they are the ones who produce these results.
ECAN International School of Acupuncutre was founded in 2003
